The party unfolds with our sultry early evening Salsa, Meringue and Samba dance lessons. Dance the night away to our Live Salsa band with Brazilian Dances like the Forr�, Pagode, Samba de Gafieira and the Lambada. Then, step into our late night Latin nightclub and Salsa, Meringue, Reggaeton or Cha-Cha your way into the New Year! 

Bay of Biscay Nightfall BallStep into the Bay of Biscay Nightclub and celebrate in true Ibiza, Lisbon and Montpellier fashion. Enjoy all-night dancing in the East Coast's largest ballroom. Join the countdown, as you watch the massive midnight balloon drop at the stroke of twelve. Watch as 2010 is welcomed around the world, with parties broadcast on enormous big screen televisions. You'll also enjoy all of your Top 40 favorites, with the talents of one of the most popular DJs in the Nation's Capital. 

Italy's Sleepless in VeniceExperience your chance at love during our popular and fast-paced speed dating rounds at a seated four-minute dating event. Join hundreds of singles sa we bring you intimacy and romance where you will be able to meet as many individuals as you choose. Stay 4 or 40 minutes. It's entirely up to you. Different color bracelets are provided for singles and couples for instant identification throughout the Gala. 

Austria's Dancing Like the StarsEnter the elegance of Vienna, Provence and Cape Verde Islands, with a live orchestra/swing band creating an enchanting ambiance of modern and timeless classics. Brush-up on your Waltz, Fox Trot and Swing skills with our early evening dance lessons. Later in the evening, the band will switch to some timeless motown classics. These guys really know how to groove and have a good time! They will definitely have you on the dance floor singing along. 

Asian Fete - Fountain of Fortune and YouthRing in the New Year surrounded by exquisite Asian music and culture most popular in Hong Kong, Tokyo, and Kyoto. We know it's a bit early for the Chinese New Year, but we can't wait to celebrate it! This year we have a Dj spinning tunes specifically tailored towards fun, asian nightclub hits! Take part in Asian traditions, with anOrigamist offering souvenirs and a Henna Artist at hand to paint your own design. Authentic costumed Geisha Girls join you in welcoming the New Year.

Bollywood Hills Underground ClubCelebrate Bombay City and Bollywood with exotic Hindi, Punjabi, Pakistani, Ghazals, and Bollywood Pop songs played through the night by our own high-spirited DJ.Learn Bollywood dances from professional performers in traditional apparel. Mingle among costumed Bollywood-style entertainers. 

Red Light DistrictRing-in the New Year Amsterdam-style! Enjoy a hilariouslate night "R" rated comedian that is sure to leave you laughing your way into the New Year!

South of the BorderJoin the jam-packed Mexico City fiesta led by one of DC's hottest Mariachi band. 

January 1 Bowl GamesAll attendees are invited to join on January 1 in McClellan's Sports Bar, the hotel's famous pub, to watch the bowl games. And during the gala, we will have the Peach Bowl (the Chick-fil-A Bowl) on in the pub.

Please note: A dessert buffet and a chocolate tasting are the only food included with this option.

Directions and Discounted ParkingThe Washington Hilton is just a short walk from the Dupont Circle Metro Station on the Metro Red Line. Exit on Q Street at the north end of the Station and walk north on Connecticut Avenue to The Washington Hilton at 1919 Connecticut Avenue. Limited parking is available for guests at the hotel's Garage, just under the hotel, at the discounted rate of $15 per car the night of the event ($23 per car if left overnight). Parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Guests are also welcome to use the Universal North Parking Garage at 2010 T Street, NW, and the Universal South Parking Garage located on Florida Avenue between the Rite Aid Pharmacy and a theater. Both Universal Garages are private commercial garages that will close at 3 a.m. on January 1, and will remain closed all day on January 1. The hotel's garage, in contrast, is open 24 hours.
