Joonbug: Did you ever think Jersey Shore was going to be such a hit?
Vinny Guadagnino: I knew the show would be good because of all of the craziness that was taking place on season one but I had no idea it was going to be a cultural phenomenon. The show didn't even have a title when we filmed it, so we had no idea what it would become.
JB: What's the best and worst part about being on the show?
VG: The worst part is being away from my family and friends for extended periods of time when we film and travel. The best part of the show is all of the opportunities that it has given me in the entertainment industry such as acting and other various projects I get to work on to show the creative side to my personality.
JB: What do you think you'd be doing if you hadn't signed on to do Jersey Shore?
VG: Right now I would probably be in law or graduate school and trying to pursue acting on the side.
JB: Where are your favorite places to party both locally and nationally?
VG: 1Oak and SL are my favorite clubs in NYC. There's a club in LA called Beacher's Madhouse thats also one of my favorite spots to party.
JB: Who are your favorite musical artists/DJs right now?
VG: As per DJ's I am on a big Skrillex tip right now. Regular artists are Wiz Khalifa, Lil Wayne, and of course Kanye (my favorite) right now.
JB: Any upcoming projects?
VG: I just did a Sci Fi movie called Jersey Shore Beach Attack coming out next summer. The new season of Jersey Shore will be out January 5th. I also have a very big project that I've been working on that I will announce in the upcoming future.
JB: Who are your celebrity crushes?
VG: I think Mila Kunis and Zoe Saldana are gorgeous.
JB: What's the worst date you've ever been on?
VG: I went on a date where me and the girl were the only ones in the restaurant. You could have heard a pin drop it was so quiet. It was awkward to sit in a dead silent place with someone you don't know for that long.
JB: Where is the best place you've traveled to and why?
VG: Italy has probably been the best place. It was amazing to learn about the history over there. The food was amazing and so were the women.
JB: If you had to be stuck on a deserted island with one person, who would it be?
VG: A hot chick who can cook.
JB: Why is your NYE party going to be the best?
VG: Any appearance that I do is always a crazy good time. The fact that this is NYE and I'm going to want to get crazy to begin with will make it even better. I have a whole squad of maniacs (my family) coming with me as well that will make the best NYE party in NYC.
